As of the summer of 2002, I retired from full-time teaching. I was a faculty member in the Jazz Studies Division of the College of Music at the University of North Texas for 25 years (Regents Professor for the last 10 years) where I taught Jazz Piano, Jazz Fundamentals, Advanced Jazz Improvisation, Jazz MIDI, Graduate Jazz Improvisation, Rhythm Section Master Class and he supervised the jazz chamber music program. I have recorded many Jamey Aebersold playalongs and have published several jazz text books. I am an active jazz clinician nationally and internationally and have had a great deal of performing experience. I was recently inducted into the International Association of Jazz Education "Hall of Fame" at the annual conference in Toronto on January 9, 2003. I look forward to seeing you around The Dallas School of Music!

Warm Regards,
Dan Haerle
