Acoustic Bass Lessons for Richardson

The Dallas School of Music teaches private acoustic bass lessons to Richardson students of all ages and abilities. Young beginners through senior citizens can discover, learn, and play music with professional acoustic bass lessons Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Acoustic Bass Lessons
Richardson Preschoolers

Our preschool program is a fun, private acoustic bass lesson for children ages 3-5, with a broader goal of teaching the fundamentals of music. All lessons are 30 minutes per week. These lessons also utilize concepts and exercises from Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Kodaly, both methods renowned for developing musical ability in young children through movement, rhythm, and singing games. Our acoustic bass lessons are especially good for the child who is not yet ready to sit through a traditional half-hour lesson.  It's not uncommon to see DSM faculty marching, jumping, clapping and coloring their way through acoustic bass lessons with a preschooler!

Our format for acoustic bass lessons includes lots of varied fun activities that provide a solid foundation for both traditional private acoustic bass lessons and/or another age-appropriate instrument. As the child progresses and his or her attention span increases, more and more time will be given to actual acoustic bass skills or the instrument of choice.

Our acoustic bass lessons for children are designed to give young students a joyful and strong foundation in playing the piano. The end result is musical proficiency and a lifelong love for music!

We teach kids at this age using a multi-sensory approach to expand their understanding of music. Development of positive problem-solving skills, self-expression, memory skills and self-esteem are emphasized as well.

We are proud to offer acoustic bass lessons for children with varying disabilities such as Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and many more. By doing a little research online, you’ll read many stories, articles, and even books written on the benefits of acoustic bass lessons for these beautiful children.

We don’t claim to be a replacement for a qualified music therapist in the medical profession; however, we can contribute to and aid in the therapy goals of many students. Students receive all dlp Acoustic Bass Books  free upon registration. Clear and concise outline and explanation of musical skills, interactive quizzes with ear training, etudes/practice songs with fully orchestrated mp3 play alongs, forums, resources, notebooks, and blogs are provided at no additional cost. On occasion, faculty may recommend additional materials in order to address specific learning styles or musical repertoire requests.

A private dlp Acoustic Bass Support Website is built and published for each acoustic bass student so personal assistance from our faculty can be easily received whenever questions arise between acoustic bass lessons. Documentation of lesson assignments, progress reports, and educational files are maintained at the site as well.
